The protective sole is our favorite anti-wear charm for both men's and women's shoes. A fine thin rubber sole is bonded to the outer leather sole to provide grip, comfort and durability. We use a color as close as possible to the color of the original sole. Unless you prefer otherwise. Do you want glossy, matte or textured?
Before applying the protective sole, the thin layer of the sole is sanded so that the protective sole is as close as possible to the rest of the sole. The colour of the protective sole shall be chosen to match the colour of the sole. The protective soles are attached using a specialised adhesive. This adhesive is firm but flexible to suit the movements of your foot. Finally, the edge of the sole is cut and sanded to the shape of the shoe and the edge of the protective sole is re-coloured to the original colour if required.

Protective soles protect the leather and adhesives from moisture, rapid wear and tear and will significantly extend the life of your boots.
Although some materials look like they will make your shoes slippery, this is not the case. The protective soles are non-slip and grip well.
It is recommended to renew the soles after 1-2 years. However, it depends on how often you wear the shoes. Consult us.
Pokud by se Vám stalo, například, že kopnete špičkou do obrubníku, přesně na hranu mezi podrážkou a svrškem, je možné, že se podrážka tímto odkopne. Lze řešit lokálním dolepením špičky.
Pokud by se Vám stalo, například, že vstoupíte do louže, či vyšší vlhkosti, mohou lepidla ztratit svou vlastnost a mohou se začít odlepovat. Jak původní lepidla z výroby tak lepidla na podrážce.
Čím více obuv nosíte, tím rychleji se podrážky ošoupávají užíváním. Životnost tedy nelze přesně určit. Doporučujeme pravidelně kontrolovat. Pokud je podrážka již hodně ošoupaná do tenka, doporučujeme udělat novou.
Často si lidé myslí, že podrážky mají neomezenou životnost a dělají pouze jednou. Ovšem tomu tak není a je to jeden z mýtů, který mezi lidmi koluje. Nic není navždy.
